The Royals are so exciting to follow, and if you’re a teenage girl, there’s probably nothing more exciting than meeting Kate Middleton and the Prince.

The fact that they’re honoring her for being given the BBC Teen Hero Award makes the event even more fantastic. It was definitely an OMG moment that was probably handled better than most.

Siena Castellon, a 16-year-old British teen went to several schools where she experienced taunts by classmates because of her disabilities. Diagnosed with Dyslexia, ADHD and Asperger’s, Castellon decided she needed to reach out to other guys and gals her age and launched Quantum Leap, a mentoring website for adolescents with similar needs.

On Quantum Leap, Castellon gives tips for managing some of the same issues she’s faced. She’s also been an advocate for neurodiversity to local politicians in England.

“My initial response was disbelief. That was followed by a mixture of nervousness and excitement,” she said. “After all, it’s not every day that one gets invited to the home of the future King of England.”

She described it as, like, a totally “pinch-me” moment, gushing over the fact the duke and duchess knew EVERYTHING about her like her name, her website, her advocacy campaigns, her Twitter hashtags like #AlwaysBeKind and…you know, like, EVERYTHING that an incredible teenage girl wants people to know about her.

Her interaction was probably one of the most graceful the couple has experienced.
