Susan Boyle Makes 2019 Comeback With “Wild Horses”, Reflects On Asperger’s

Susan Boyle is back and looking better than ever!
The seemingly shy and timid lady who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent a decade ago made an appearance on the American version of the show singing a beautiful version of The Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses.”
Boyle has been out of the spotlight for awhile, some of that time spent reflecting on her Asperger’s syndrome.
In 2013, the Scottish singer went publicly about her diagnosis, something previously was explained by everything but.
“Now I have a clearer understanding of what’s wrong and I feel relieved and a bit more relaxed about myself,” she said about Asperger’s.
She has admitted she sometimes isn’t the perky superstar everyone wants her to be and the time taken off does have to do with not being completely able to give the audience 100%.
“The short answer is that it has been connected to my Asperger’s syndrome,” she continued.
“The audience wants to see someone smiley.”
After viewing the video of her 2019 performance from America’s Got Talent, her fans will surely forgive any absences and be thankful their gal is back!
It’s a fair bet to say everyone is very forgiving and happy to see her onstage again. And no will fault her, as there are plenty of other groups who cancel shows for all sorts of reasons.
Just think about how many shows you’ve missed during your lifetime because at least one of the band members is in rehab! (Unfortunately, this is both funny and sad as addiction is a serious and dangerous condition.) If Susan Boyle needs a little time off to rev up her engine to get it smiley again, so be it.
During her debut on Britain’s Got Talent, Boyle stood in front of Simon Cowell and humorously claimed she had, “never been kissed,” before later recanting and saying of course she had, “many, many times!”
More than likely, similar to the stage, she desperately needed a break from all that whirl of romance. You know how those Scottish men are!
