Blue Man Group, known for incorporating music and art with a distinctive makeup set no other act can mimic, will be hosting an autism-friendly performance on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Blue Man Group Theatre at Universal CityWalk in Orlando, FL.

Jaap van Zweden, a prestigious violinist who’s been affiliated with both the Dutch Royal Concertgebouw and the New York Philharmonic orchestras, learned this when the accidental discovery of music therapy enabled his autistic son to not only learn to speak their native Dutch, but English as well.

NeuroPointDX Debuts Blood Test For Autism

The world of testing for disease has expanded more than ever.

While autism is thought to originate from a variety of causes, one company, NeuroPointDX, is assessing whether the processing of certain amino acids may be linked to those on the spectrum.

This week, the company debuted what is recognized as the first blood test for autism.
