I didn't realize that he'd found a way to open our padlocked gate and spent precious minutes searching for him behind plants in the yard. When I finally discovered the open gate, he was nowhere to be found. It took me about 30 minutes to locate him about 10 houses away. He'd found some girls and gone into their house totally starkers to play with them. Even worse, the other parents had called the police and it took a bit of convincing to get him back.
